FNO Dispatches from Space 15 Twenty and Sunset Plaza

While making our FNO agenda, the obvious first stop was What Comes Around Goes Around. Not only was it geographically convenient, the free miniblowouts from Hairroin Salon meant we had one less thing to do to get ready. We arrived unfashionably early, but crowds were already starting to drift in. Besides the hair favors, they provided fancy cocktails, a photobooth, and some of the best people-watching of the night.

The Sunset Plaza spectacle may not have been as high profile as the ones down at the street on Melrose, Third Street, or the Beverly Center, but it was surprisingly well attended. Many of the retailers offered legitimate discounts (20% at BCBG is nothing to sneeze at), and LIVE! On Sunset did it up big with drinks, a live band, a photobooth, and custom, on the premises screen printing. The Plaza also offered a convoluted contest that required would be participants to stop at every shop, collect a stamp, and do the Hokey Pokey, or something that involved.
