Despite the fact that they are based on flimsy science, have scarce evidence that they work, and are ugly as sin, it looks like MBT shoes are to stay. What's making us nervous that they aren't just going to go the way of Crocs and Uggs is the fact that they've been embraced, sort of, by legitimate fashion types. Witness the fact that Prada's Alberto Del Biondi had designed a Beatles-inspired boot for MBT. Oh, the horror! Even if Christian Louboutin designed a pair, we'd have a hard time getting on board.
