Elizabeth Daniels, 7/10
The new Essensuals London salon just opened Monday, so we raced down to see it while it was still fresh and virginal. We'd seen the original renderings and toured it about two months ago, but we had no idea it would turn out so snazzy. It's equal parts James Bond, fashion show, and music video. However, the piece de resistance may actually be the can: the women's is adorned with a blaring mural of Queen Elizabeth on the throne, while the men's features a Prince Charles who looks disturbingly like George W. Bush. Actually, our favorite part may be the upstairs rooftop patio, where they set you out to bake if you get color or Brazilian straightening. A cut and a style starts at $75 and can run as high as $300, depending on your stylist. Essensuals offers a host of other services, and they also sell product from Goldwell, Label M, and MoroccanOil.
