Sometimes, at the end of a long week (why does the week following a three-day weekend always seem interminable?), it's too much effort to read—you just want to look at pretty pictures. We're here for you. Last week, we visited the Geren Ford studio downtown to get a peek at what's in store for the coming seasons. Besides the Geren Ford line, we inspected the GF by Geren Ford diffusion line, as well as Hawks by Geren Ford, the Urban Outfitters exclusive. Wow, Ms. Lockhart is prolific. Each full line featured dozens of pieces, running the gamut from flirty day frocks that have just a touch of tomboy to jackets best described as Victorian X Blade Runner to dresses that mesh old Hollywood glamor with distinctively 21st century touches. We could heap praise on the dresses for days?but we'll let the pictures do the talking. Want!
