Did you know there was actually a list, compiled by a legitimate writer in a serious magazine, ranking the most Bohemian major cities in the United States? Surprise, surprise, there wasn't an OC city on it, but that didn't stop Free People from opening a new store in South Coast Plaza last week. Lots of floaty, mixed print maxi-dresses; tiers; ruffles; the usual Free People merchandise. The store also stocks We the Free, Genetic Denim, and we saw a distressed leather bags from Frye. The store is downstairs near Bloomingdale's—and also near the future home of the "best Banana Republic store in the world."
