Big news: They're rejiggering LA Fashion Week and taking it back to the glory days when it was more cohesive, higher profile?more of an actual event, as opposed to a scattered group of happenings that were linked by name alone. Don't get us wrong, there have been some fun times during the past couple of years, and we're not saying NYFW is the bible or anything, but this new initiative might be what it takes to lure the designers who'll lure the media who'll help confer "legit" status upon the event. The effort will be spearheaded by World Coast Management?who maybe doesn't have the most stellar list of clients, but hey, you know the story about David & Goliath. LA Production Studios, downtown, will serve as Ground Zero. [Racked Inbox, LA Fashion Week]
