What, pray tell, would one expect from the Best Damn Banana Republic store in the Entire World? Cupcakes? Unicorns? A slightly less "jailbait" version of the A&F guys? Looks like we'll find out in August, which is when our sources say this megahyped 3,000 - 4,000 square foot (we're guestimating) store will be open. It's downstairs in the Bloomingdale's wing at South Coast Plaza.
