The early 8:30 am start time wasn't a deterrent for the Steven Alan faithful who queued up to score significant discounts on the Steven Alan line, as well as select goods from Acne, Sea, Repetto, Chaiken, Rachel Comey, and Free City. Good buys on shoes: stacks of Generic Surplus shoes for $25, and a small selection of ladies' Repettos for $65. Men's long-sleeved shirts are going for $68, women's for $58. It's very grab-baggy—a wide, unwieldy selection that will probably provide a few unexpected treasures, if you're willing to dig.
