Remember that Anna Sui lipgloss from 2007/2008 that came in a little pot tucked into a black rose that was the centerpiece of a ring? The lipgloss was so-so, but the ring was a cult classic. Sephora discontinued the ring, and the rest of the Anna Sui cosmetics, a couple of years ago. And this weekend, we found these. The collection includes lipstick, gloss, nail polish, blush/shadow, loose powder, liquid eyeliner, and blotting paper. It looks like old times—gothy looking ornate black plastic with roses and curliques. We tested the colors, briefly, on our hand. (Seriously, a makeup tester at Urban Outfitters; would you put it on your face?) The lipstick goes on true and creamy, the glosses were sheer, and the liquid liner goes on dark and glittery and might make you look crazy if you wear too much. At the moment, it seems that's the only local Urban to carry the line.
