It's been a really good week for the Moods of Norway team: Last Thursday, mad-hot Flying Lotus rocked a Moods suit on the cover of LA Weekly. And this past Tuesday, they celebrated the store's one-year anniversary. Good week?hell, it's been an awesome year for Peder Borresen, Simen Staalnacke and Stefan Dahlkvist. Norseman, fashion-forward locals and a few celebs (Camp Freddy's Matt Sorum, Billy Morrison and Donovan Leitch; as well as a few MTV personalities) came out for a party that included music, cocktails, imported snow, the Flying Culinary Circus—the first-ever traveling chef group from Norway, Norwegian waffles, and of course, really pretty Norwegian people. We hope they do the snow again; we'll have ourselves a little stay-cation right out on the sidewalk. (Pictures and text by Samantha Lefkowitz.)
