The good news is we're in the home stretch; it's almost the weekend. The bad news is that there's still a few more hours left in this day. Take a load off the old gray matter and look at pictures of pretty, pretty Monique Lhuillier wedding dresses. At last weekend's Unveiled: Bridal Style Revealed event, the boutique featured models, wine and cupcakes. The models were like gazelles. So lean, graceful?and so freakin' tall. (And for us, at 5'9", to say so means they're nearly Amazonian). Watching them scuttle around the shop was slightly unnerving: the very full skirts covered their heels, and it appeared that they were hovering, rather than walking. At one point, we wondered if they might be on wheels or something. We couldn't figure it out. We went up to one of the models and asked her if she might pull up the skirt so we could check out what was underneath?and then we ran away when we realized what a giant perv we sounded like. True story.
