Free People Catalog is the Gift That Keeps on Fugging

Not surprisingly, the Free People site says that people who purchased the cowboy boots also purchased the clogs. The cowboy boots are almost sold out.

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We know that most of us have been blinded by the fug of the floral slouchy clog Irregular Choice monstrosities, but if you managed to take a gander in the same Free People catalog, you might have spied a heinousity that runs a close second: Jeffery Campbell over-the-knee cowboy boots. In the catalog, they're styled with a mind-boggling boho-pantaloon-romper that could not be worn any place other than a catalog, or a rich kid Coachella afterparty (which is almost the same thing). But what do you think? Is the OTK cowboy boot in the same league as the clog?
