Models Go Collab Crazy

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Two new designer/non-designer collabs have come to our attention today, both of them featuring models strutting some new skills. Agyness Deyn and Barneys Japan did eleven items together which will hit Tokyo stores on March 13 and hopefully trickle our way via Ebay. Jessica Stam and Rachel Roy put their heads together for a capsule collection of jeans, a bag and a cardigan for the Rachel Rachel Roy line to be unveiled at September's New York Fashion Week. So is the logic that since models are professional clothes-wearers, they must have untapped design talents? Because we may need to get an agent. [The Cut]
