French Connection Surrenders on the Promenade

We're always sad to see a store closing, but we're a little excited to scoop up some good deals when it happens. This time, the unlucky shop going down is French Connection at the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica. The store has signage in every window announcing the closing and the additional markdowns. Inside, the store is about half emptied, but there still remains several racks stuffed full for men and women. Most of the pieces are sale selections from the fall/winter collection, but there are a few spring goodies buried among the coats and little black dresses. Everything is an additional 50% off, making prices for the shoes, handbags, dresses, pants, jeans and tops between $40 to $100 on average. Coats are going for around $125 to $150.

We're not sure if there are other FCUK locations around Los Angeles that may be closing and offering the same deals. If you've seen one, let us know. Otherwise, head west to get some sample sale-esque deals on end-of-the-season items.
