Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
At least, that's the impression we get by looking at the Racked NY recap of the Phillip Lim show. According to the program, Lim aimed to capture the look of the moment that disco became punk. Wool shorts over pants? White fur-trimmed bomber jackets? A plaid jumper that criss-crosses in the front? We're not sure how any of those hint at what came between Studio 54 and CBGB, but we do know we love us that pink sparkly dress. [Racked NY]
