Glamorous Taxidermy, Shiny Baubles Abound at New Alexis Bittar Store

It must be good to be Alexis Bittar right now: besides the whole "tall, dark and handsome" thing, he's a First Lady favorite, and he just opened a pair of chi-chi boutiques in Los Angeles. The Venice location threw a grand opening party earlier in the month; we snuck before the crowds to get a few beauty shots of the store and the merchandise. We weren't terribly surprised that it was totally mesmerizing. Who else could make taxidermy so glamorous? It's a fitting home to showcase the show-stopping, statement-making jewelry.

If you haven't already visited either the shop on Venice or their 3rd Street location?you know the saying, "Good things come to those who wait?" Both locations will offer 50% off select bangles and baubles starting the day after Christmas. The Venice location is open Monday through Saturday, 11am to 8pm; Sunday from noon to 5pm. 8383 West 3rd Street location is open Monday through Saturday, from 11am to 7pm; Sunday from noon to 5pm.
