Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

If you missed the Clever Vintage popup in October, chill?the event was successful enough that they're participating in a host of curated vintage and design shows coming up, including one tomorrow (details below)

Clever Vintage owner Dave Temple spearheaded the event with an eclectic group of friendly, top-notch vintage dealers whose merch prices are surprisingly within reach – especially if you’re looking for something special. So what makes
this sale especially notable? 1) No junk! Just really well selected goods by merchants who usually sell their wares at trade shows to stylists, designers, and collectors; 2) You deal directly with the owners, and get to learn about the provenance of your special find; 3) No weird pricing hassles, since the prices are decent for top-notch vintage (Most of the garments and accessories were between $60-$300); 4) Above average quantities of men’s stuff too! If you missed the sale, be sure to mark you calendar for their December event, just in time to get some retro vintage sparkle for your holiday parties! Next event: December 11, 10am-4pm, Lightspace Studio, Helms Bakery, 8755 Washington Blvd., Culver City.
