No wonder American Apparel wasn't exactly expedient about filing their second-quarter report with the SEC: it was really, really bad. Like "second-quarter loss of nearly $15 million" bad. According to the report, American Apparel "may not have sufficient liquidity necessary to sustain operations for the next 12 months." [WWD, NBC New York]
