A Look at Macy's Breast Intentions

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

It's that time of year again, when pink covers everything from jewelry to NFL players and boob jokes become more rampant than normal. Companies offer all kinds of products to raise money for breast cancer research, and Macy's is no exception. This year, they're offering two exclusive items: a wordy t-shirt by Ellen Tracy, retailing for $29.50 with 10% going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and a preppy INC Pink and Pearls dress, retailing for $99 with 5% going to the BCRF. We've seen our fair share of tacky pink products, so we're always impressed with ones that have a hint of style, that you might actually buy without the added charity incentive and that can be worn outside of the month of October.
