Phew! What a relief that there's been an influx of of blue-chip brands and pedigreed boutiques to the Melrose/Melrose Place area. Joining the ranks is TenOverSix with their just-off-center approach to indie fashion. They moved from Beverly, and brought their thoughtful selection of Opening Ceremony, Pendleton, Vena Cava, Rachel Comey, Jesse Kamm, Dieppa Restrepo and Alexander Wang with them. No big surprises, exactly: it's as lovely as you'd expect. (But we must admit we miss the floating chair display.) And the mint-green exterior is both fun and appropriate, since they are a cool, refreshing fashion blast.
