To herald the launch of the new Venomous Villains collection with Disney, MAC threw a little party at South Coast Plaza on Friday. Besides getting to dabble in the new sparkling, deeply hued MAC confections, guests also got to dress up like a villain and take a picture that effectively integrated them into the cartoon. We're probably never going to get over the disappointment of the Rodarte collaboration falling through, but this is a nice little diversion. The collection is on sale, and selling out, everywhere.

Despite what you'd think, the new MAC colors are anything but cartoonish. They're not holiday novelty colors, either. Yes, they're dramatic (and some of them you can probably only pull off if you're wearing something tight, slinky and clubby). But there are plenty of pretty, wearable colors. And wow, that super slick packaging.
