There's no secret agenda behind the Boutique Week program: it was designed to get people to open their wallets by offering significant discounts at boutiques around the city. The idea is a consumer goes online and signs up for a special access code; that consumer then goes to a participating boutique, drops the access code, and gets at least 25% off at least half the merchandise in the store. Some of those stores include Betsey Johnson, EM & Co, Four, Una Mae's, Atmosphere, and Ed Hardy. Finally, there's something good that can be said about the purveyor of bedazzled bro stuff: all participating boutiques are donating money to Dress for Success.
