Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
In honor of LA Fashion Month, Fluxus prepared an artistic fashion installation at the W Westwood—which is nowhere near any of the fashion events happening this October, but hey! Two of the outfits on display in the lobby are dresses made from newspapers, while one is standard LA-based Fluxus cotton and leather. The fall 2010 collection, designed by Project Runway winner Jeffrey Sebelia, looks like something the designer would wear himself. If you happen to be in the area, stop by and check it out. And stay tuned as we bring you the best and worst of LA Fashion Month over the next couple of weeks.
