Pretty much says it all. Fred Segal unleashed their shoe blowout this morning, with prices at $125 a pair or two for $225. Cash only. The crowd went from 0 - 60 in about two minutes; despite being advised by a surly security guard NOT to, women were indiscriminately scooping up shoes like a game of Hungry Hungry Hippos. It was kinda ugly; when we left, almost everything was gone. Expect for those plexiglass Pradas, in a size 42 or something. [Fred Segal]
