CERRITOS—That behemoth Forever 21 at the Los Cerritos Center has its grand opening Saturday morning. They're doing up the celebration with gift cards for the first 500 shoppers in line, coupons, a DJ, and the Spinkles Cupcakes Wagon. DOWNTOWN—The folks behind Unique LA are holding a Community Service fair at the California Market Center. Come down and get connected with a host of nonprofits that need support, manpower, whatever else you can offer—including Heal the Bay, Tree People, Greenpeace, and the Starlight Children's Foundation. A (suggested) $5 door donation gets you a free drink and a raffle ticket. Also on hand: DJs, food, workshops, crafts?and warm fuzzies a-plenty.
