This weekend, we learned the Melrose boutique is closing up shop—and that, effectively, the brand is calling it quits in the US. The only other US retail establishment, an outlet in Milpitas, is supposed to close in spring. The Fornarina boutique will be open through April, which is when the lease expires anyway. Don't go rushing down there with visions of huge deals in your head, just yet: for the past year, it seems like the store has run a perennial sample sale, and the prices aren't any different. If you're a fan of the brand, you'll be glad to know that it's supposedly thriving in Europe, and you'll still be able to purchase the wares online.
