We were already smitten with the goods from up-and-coming line U before we even learned any of the background. The line was put together by former Gap Europe and Giorgio Armani designer Raf Antos, and Don-Alvin Adegeest, who played an integral role in launching Marc by Marc Jacobs in Europe under LVMH. The pieces don't just look authentically So Cal: everything is made right here in California.

Here's what we really love about the line: even with exceptionally reasonable prices—$59 for a basic deconstructed tee up to $225 for a layered hoodie—they're donating proceeds The World Wildlife Fund, Amazon Conservation Association, The Rainforest Alliance and Prince's Trust.
