Designer Narciso Rodriguez isn't turning to Target or H&M to fulfill his diffusion line dreams—instead, he's casting his gaze towards eBay. The architect of our slinky-dress fantasies is "in talks" with the auction site to create an eight-piece capsule collection, with prices ranging from $75 to $350. Rodriguez tells the New York Post that he's attracted to eBay's "strong finances" and the fact that he will be able to keep the collection small—after all, there won't be thousands of stores to which he needs to ship pieces each month. But don't think for a minute that the designer's going to get any special treatment. Says the Post: "Like other sellers, Rodriguez will pay 35 cents to list an item for 30 days under eBay's "Buy it Now" option, and will pay another fee once the item is sold." [NYP]
