Fashion's Night Out: Fashion Island Brings the Revelry to the OC

Fashion's Night Out is a mere two days away and, as it turns out, the SoCal shopping shindigs aren't just going to be confined to LA. Newport Beach's Fashion Island mall is also getting in on the action, with many shops offering bubbly, discounts, and/or gifts with purchase on the night of September 10—Y-3, Trina Turk, Kate Spade, Martin & Osa, The Limited, Forever 21, and Betsey Johnson are just a few of the places with incentives to get shoppers through the doors. Taking things a few steps further, American Rag will be holding a group trunk show (including Cynthia Vincent and Warriors of Radness) over mini-desserts, Lululemon Athletica will be demonstrating something called AcroYoga, and Neiman Marcus has an entire slate of events on tap, from a Modernist fashion show to makeovers by an Armani Beauty makeup artist to a free Manolo Blahnik tee with the purchase of a pair of Manolos. No family portraits or denim-shredding sessions, then, but we guess things do tend to get a little crazier once you cross the LA county line.
