Earlier this year, we reported that Montana Ave. womenswear boutique Jane Smith would be shuttering this summer. As it turns out, the shop has been purchased by one Rachel Sheff, saving it from the fate of the street's other empty storefronts. As Sheff tells us: "Jane Smith will remain open, with all the same type of great affordable merchandise"—labels include Free People (at 30% off), Johnny Was, Charlotte Tarantolla, and Seychelles shoes.
