Cathy Horyn doesn't seem to be having much fun in Milan. She liked Jil Sander, Bottega Veneta and Missoni, but otherwise a "weekend of joyless shows by major talents conveyed the sense of inertia." She particularly didn't care for Dolce & Gabbana's corsets and said that, "Heavy on beige, Karl Lagerfeld’s boudoir show for Fendi made you think a giant pair of old pantyhose had fallen over Milan."
