There might finally be an upside to this whole collapsing-economy situation: Fewer celebrity clothing lines. The Wall Street Journal notes that the downturn is hitting celebrity-backed brands hard, and many are disappearing. Among the celebrities with troubled clothing lines are: Justin Timberlake, André Benjamin, Heidi Montag, Lauren Conrad, Nicky Hilton, Mandi Moore, and Jennifer Lopez. "Every D-level celebrity who thought they could make a quick buck by designing a handbag or whatever is going to disappear," said Anna Wintour. "And I think that's a good thing."
