During a weekend stroll on Robertson Blvd, we passed by the site of the new Christian Louboutin boutique, which is due to open at some point this month. Windows are still papered over, but we did note that a garden has started to bloom in front of the store, enclosed by an iron gate. Upon closer inspection, we noticed that the gate spells out Christian Louboutin in a spindly script—we have a feeling that once the store's open and the garden's fully grown, entering through it will feel like walking into some kind of fairy tale cottage (but with crystal-encrusted suede wedge booties instead of glass slippers).
