LA native Michelle Williams is taking her label, Quail, to New York Fashion Week—but she won't be holding a runway show. Instead, she's dressing models in her Spring 2010 collection, putting them on an ice cream truck, and having them hand out cones at Milk Studios and the Bryant Park tents. It's “a great way for us to be where the action is," she tells WWD, without having to pay for a slot at one of the two headlining events. We suggest she give the Coolhaus girls a call when she gets back to LA—we like ice cream too, you know. [WWD]
