Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Gap's 40th anniversary celebration is moving on to London, and, in place of the new 1969 denim collection, they've linked up with French blogger Garance Doré to create some limited edition merch for a Carnaby Street pop-up shop. Three of her illustrations will receive pride of place on t-shirts (each one in an edition of 69), and a selection of her photos, drawings and other inspiration will be exhibited on the walls. Unfortunately, the tees aren't coming to the US as of now, but as the lovely Garance says on her blog "I called the wonderful team over at Gap and asked if there was any way we could find of selling a few on the internet. They told me that they’d try to find a solution." Fingers crossed. [Garance Doré]
