David Arquette, David Bedwell and Ben Harper have been so encouraged by the success of Propr's first boutique on Abbot Kinney that they're taking the concept to New York. WWD reports that the trio has plans to open a Propr pop-up store in the city, and will be keeping the Venice location open at least through the end of the autumn/winter season (when we last checked in, they were unsure how permanent the boutique would be). The trade rag also got some dirt on the Spring 2010 collection, which is "inspired by the works and wardrobes of painters Jean-Michel Basquiat and Jackson Pollock"—a theme that would probably be well-received by Venice's artsy crowd, should they choose to extend the lease a little longer (hint, hint) [WWD, Previously]
