If the blood-spattered windows at Barneys' New York flagship taught us anything, it's that staged murder scenes don't go down well with the fashion faithful. So it was probably wise for Neiman Marcus to go the more figurative route in their crime-inspired windows, which we captured at the Wilshire Blvd. location. In the place of guts and gore are a tidy row of clipboards spelling out the phrase "If loving fashion is a crime, we plead guilty," while, in contrast to Barneys' slumped-over mannequins, Neimans' appear to be busting out their slickest dance moves. It's a courtroom drama of the fly-est order.
