Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

It's about to be a whole lot easier for Westside gents to dress like Scott Weiland, as we've learned that English Laundry will be opening a second outpost in Beverly Hills. We're told that the new store, located at 358 N. Beverly Drive, will be more upscale in product and decor than the current location on Melrose Ave, in an effort to better suit the local clientele. For those unfamiliar with the brand, English Laundry is designed by one Christopher Wicks—an Englishman who cut his teeth with LA Gear and Ocean Pacific back in the '80s—and is known for its celebrity fan base and collaborators (Charlie Sheen and Scott Weiland have both helped design collections, while an entire range of garments emblazoned with Lennon-McCartney lyrics has proven popular). An opening date has not yet been set, but we spotted a tenant improvement notice on the door dated August 4, so expect a renovation period first.
