Up until now, all of the buzz surrounding Fashion's Night Out—Vogue's all-out effort to get shoppers into stores via one night of global events—has centered around New York. But it turns out the revelry will be coming to the West Coast as well, as WWD has revealed a preliminary lineup of stores and brands that will be taking part. The most exciting development, so far, comes from Ron Herman, who is said to be culling over 30 brands to appear at his Melrose shop on September 10—Monrow, LnA, Chan Luu, J Brand and even that oh-so-esteemed designer Dr. Dre are some of the names being batted around. On top of this, Neiman Marcus, Maxfield, Trovata, Ron Robinson and Rock & Republic have also expressed their intent to participate. Still no word on exactly what any of the events will entail, but we suggest the LA contingent check out our sister site's list of the ten best New York events to get some ideas—who wants to follow Rag & Bone's lead and turn their store into a pub?
