WWD today reveals some more details about Henri Bendel's arrival on California shores. Not only will the brand be opening in the Beverly Center in November, but it will also be arriving at South Coast Plaza around the same time. Per the article, the stores will both be around 2,000 square feet—significantly smaller than the most famous, three-story location in New York— and "will carry Bendel-branded merchandise such as handbags, jewelry, scarves, specialty gifts, fragrances, chocolates, teas and cookies." The retailer will also be opening shops in Dallas, New Jersey and Philadelphia this fall. [WWD, sub. required; Previously]
