Downtown LA Fashion Week is seeking up-and-coming designers to show during this fall's event, scheduled for October 13-15. This particular chunk of LA Fashion Week held its swanky premiere just last season at the Geffen Contemporary museum, with an installation by Louis Verdad (one of Madonna's go-to costume designers) and a vintage couture runway show courtesy of Decades. However, this time around they're looking to add some less established talent to the mix, and are seeking designers who trained locally and can produce ten looks in time for the show. To submit your interest to the judging panel (including designer Jeffrey Sebelia, Petro Zillia's Nony Tochterman, designer Louis Verdad and event producer Vanessa Gonzalez), email DLAFW's Leanna Lewis.
