Not everything that comes out of California is sunshine and light—case in point, Reid Peppard. After decamping to London for fashion studies five years ago, the West Coast-bred designer launched this delightful collection of dead animal accessories. Utilizing such varied materials as rat heads, pigeon wings, glass hearts and gold, Peppard concocts old-timey accoutrements from bow ties to badges. Yes, a lot of the pieces are exceptionally creepy— e.g. two full-sized rats wrestling atop a headband, which are sure to give us nightmares for weeks. But we suppose you've got to give him her points for originality? [Refinery 29]
