Relocations: Panty Raid Packs its Skivvies for Los Feliz

Panty Raid, Silver Lake's go-to destination for chic, yet sexy underthings, is in the midst of a house move. The boutique will soon be leaving Glendale Boulevard, where it's resided for the past seven years, for 1953 Hillhurst Avenue in Los Feliz. As owner Jen Abercrombie tells us, "We love our old neighborhood, but we just felt like it was time for a change." And they're in good company: in recent months, a handful of boutiques (including Vamp Shoes and, soon, New High (M)art) have relocated to the neighborhood from points East. From a business perspective, this seems like a smart move. Not only will Panty Raid fill a distinct lingerie gap in Los Feliz, but it can only benefit from the foot traffic on this stretch of the street—a rarity on the busy road they currently call home. The new shop is set to open in mid-late July.
