Perhaps inspired by Kate Moss' Topshop success, model Amber Valletta is trying her hand at fashion design. She's teamed up with LA-based label Monrow to create a line of "accessible" basics, from t-shirts and tanks to a smoking jacket and romper. The first collection is set to drop in November, and, although she tells WWD it was unplanned, a second one is already in development. "I never thought about designing at all," Valletta says. "If anything, maybe, I would have done some kind of children's line because I love shopping with my son." Good thing she didn't—Jon Gosselin for Ed Hardy's going to be a pretty hard celebrity kidswear act to follow. [WWD via Vogue UK]
