Now Open: Nike's 225 Forest Brings Custom Action Sports Gear to the OC

Laguna Beach's Hurley store has been transformed into 225 Forest, a new concept shop dedicated to Nike's four action sports brands—Nike 6.0, Nike SB, Hurley and Converse. According to Cool Hunting, this is the first time the labels have all been found in one location, and to add to the experience Nike has developed an appointment-only customization lab in the rustic space's basement. A Nike ID studio allows shoppers to create bespoke kicks in a wide range of colors and fabrics, Hurley is on hand to press exclusive graphics onto board shorts, while Converse has enlisted artists to create illustrations that jazz up plain sneakers and tees. Not totally one-of-a-kind, then, but at least this lessens the possibility of showing up on the beach in the same trunks as your rival—a major faux pas, we're sure.
