If you don't want to resort to a "Puppoose", go to D.O.G. tonight. Actually, you can get these there too.

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

LA CIENEGA—Are you and your dog just not communicating the way you used to? Perhaps couples therapy is in order—and, since difficult conversations are always a little easier with champagne and cake, we suggest you stop by DOG Pet Boutique (346 N. La Cienega Blvd) tonight as a starting point. From 6pm-8pm, the shop is hosting dog whisperer Gabriela Castillo, who will be leading a session on how to talk to your dog. Plus, donations will benefit the Bumper Foundation Rescue Group, which should make you feel a little less guilty for picking up a convertable-shaped "Furcedes Bed" for Rover on your way out.

WEST 3RD STREET—On a much more serious note, eco-designer Linda Loudermilk is hosting a charity trunk show this Saturday at EM & Co (7940 W. 3rd Street). Not only will you be able to browse through a vast array of the designer's wares, but you'll also be able to bid on one of her couture pieces, with the winning bid going to benefit Free the Slaves—an organization that strives to, well, free slaves. If you're really special, you might get an invite to the preview on Friday night from 7pm-10pm. Email the store to grovel.
