Denim leggings, the fall trend that's bound to launch a thousand "Dont's" in the back pages of Glamour, are starting infiltrate boutiques around the city. A few days ago, we got an e-mail from Diavolina heralding the arrival of J Brand's side-zip jeggings, in three autumnal hues. Then, today, we receive notice from sister store Madison of a series of trunk shows next week, which will introduce Goldsign's take on the trend. In the hands of such experienced denim brands, we suspect the carnage will be minimal—what's more worrying is the thought of what will be on view when fast fashion brands attempt to recreate them in their flimsy fabrics.
