Local artist Paul Rusconi has caused quite the furor amongst Chanel nail polish devotees. Later this month, the brand's Robertson Boulevard store will host an exhibition of Rusconi paintings created solely from its nail polish—a project that reportedly required him to buy all of the Chanel nail polishes in LA. To quote The Daily: "Devoted clients offered the studio outrageous sums for just a single bottle of Chanel's limited-edition L.A. Sunrise color."
