The fashion world's obsession with Mad Men has slowly quieted down in the months since the second season ended, but expect it to ramp up again soon. AMC's drama about tortured but ridiculously well-dressed '60s era ad execs returns this August, and Banana Republic has just announced that it's joined up with the network for a massive ad campaign.
Not only will the windows of stores nationwide feature Mad Men-themed window displays, but they'll actually have teasers from the upcoming season. (We're assuming nothing too big will be revealed, although we would sort of like to see a window of shocked mannequins discovering that their fellow mannequin co-worker has a secret mannequin baby). Banana Republic will also carry style guides with tips on how to dress like your favorite character, and—this is for the truly obsessed—the guides will give you access to a casting call where you could win a walk-on role in the show.
