CENTURY CITY—It's not everyday that a charity bash is thrown in a mall, but that's exactly the scene you'll find at Westfield Century City on Thursday. From 6pm-8pm, Martin + Osa will be offering 20% off all purchases in aid of the Fashion Forward Foundation, a local outfit that sponsors clothing drives for those in need. Early birds will not only get a head start on the refreshments, but also a shot at one of the $25 gift cards given to the first 20 people through the door. For more information, e-mail the organizers.
ONLINE—In other do-gooder news, designer Yigal Azrouël is supposed to be auctioning off items from his spring collection to benefit the Natural Resources Defense Council. The sale was supposed to start today on eBay, but when we attempted to check in a few minutes ago, we couldn't find anywhere to place a bid. Are we missing something? Is the auction running behind schedule? We've put in an e-mail to Yigal's people, but if you've got any dirt, fill us in with a comment.
